Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 November 2026
1. Scope and provider
(1) These Terms apply to all contracts for the use of the SigPath website (“Service”) between Marco Emmerich, Finkenweg 21, 56751 Gering, Germany, email: lioemmerich@gmail.com (“Provider”) and its users (“User”).
(2) A consumer within the meaning of these Terms is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession (§ 13 German Civil Code, BGB).
(3) Conflicting terms of the User do not become part of the contract.
2. Description of the Service
(1) The Service uses a statistical model (“path signatures”) to automatically generate assessments (“Long”, “Short”, “Hold”) as well as computed take-profit and stop-loss levels for selected cryptocurrencies, currency pairs and gold, based on publicly available third-party price data.
(2) The outputs do not constitute investment advice, investment recommendations or financial analysis and do not take the User’s personal circumstances into account. The Provider does not execute trades for Users and does not hold any assets. The risk disclosure applies in addition.
(3) Free: With a free user account, the User receives one analysis once.
Pro: With a paid subscription, the User may request an unlimited number of analyses for all offered assets and timeframes during the term.
(4) No particular result, in particular no particular hit rate or return, is owed.
3. User account
(1) Registration takes place via email address (login code) or a Google account. The User must be of legal age and have full legal capacity.
(2) Access data must be kept confidential. The User can delete their account at any time in the account area; any running subscription must be cancelled first.
4. Conclusion of contract for Pro subscriptions
(1) The presentation of the plans on the website does not constitute a binding offer. The User selects a plan, accepts these Terms, acknowledges the withdrawal policy and clicks “Subscribe – order with obligation to pay”. The User is then redirected to the payment page of the payment service provider Stripe, where they enter their payment details and complete the order. By completing the payment process, the User submits a binding offer, which the Provider accepts by activating Pro access or by sending the confirmation email.
(2) Before completion, entries can be corrected or the process cancelled at any time using the browser controls or by closing the dialog. The contract language is English; the contract text is not stored separately, but these Terms are available on this page at any time.
5. Prices and payment
(1) The prices stated on the website at the time of the order apply. All prices are final prices in euros.
(2) The fee is payable in advance for the selected billing period (month or year) and is collected via Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. The available payment methods are shown on the payment page.
(3) Users can view invoices and change payment details in Stripe’s customer portal.
6. Term, renewal and cancellation
(1) Monthly plan: The initial term is one month. Unless cancelled, the contract continues for an indefinite period and can be cancelled at any time with effect from the end of the current billing month.
(2) Yearly plan: The initial term is twelve months. Unless cancelled before it expires, the contract continues for an indefinite period and can then be cancelled at any time with one month’s notice. Fees paid in advance for the period after the end of the contract will be refunded pro rata.
(3) Cancellation is possible in text form (e.g. by email) or via the “Cancel contracts here” button available on every page. The right to terminate for good cause remains unaffected.
(4) After the end of the contract, access reverts to the Free scope.
7. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. Details can be found in the withdrawal policy.
8. User obligations
The User may use the Service for their own purposes only. In particular, automated mass retrieval (scraping), passing on or reselling signals to third parties, circumventing access restrictions and sharing the account are prohibited.
9. Availability and changes
(1) The Provider strives for high availability but does not owe uninterrupted access. Outages of third-party data sources (Binance, Yahoo Finance) may cause analyses to be temporarily unavailable or limited.
(2) The Provider may further develop the model and the scope of the Service, provided that the contractually agreed core of the Service is preserved and the change is reasonable for the User. § 327r BGB applies to changes of digital products.
10. Liability
(1) The Provider is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health and under the German Product Liability Act.
(2) In the event of a slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations (obligations whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose compliance the User may regularly rely), liability is limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded.
(3) In particular, the Provider is not liable for losses resulting from trading decisions the User makes on the basis of the signals, unless paragraph 1 applies.
11. Data protection
Information on the processing of personal data can be found on the privacy page.
12. Final provisions
(1) The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection of mandatory provisions of the country of their habitual residence.
(2) The Provider is neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
(3) Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
